City of Nortonville Camping Rentals

Nortonville Lake Sites

The City of Nortonville RV/Camper sites and primitive tent sites at the Nortonville Lake Area are all booked for the Solar Eclipse weekend.

Nortonville Ballpark Sites

There are spots available at The City of Nortonville’s Solar Eclipse Viewing Area located at the City's Ballpark

RV/Camper and Tent Site Prices

Nortonville Lake RV/Camper Sites - $125.00 per night Two (2) night minimum. Primitive Tent sites - $30.00 per night Two night minimum.

Nortonville Ball Park RV/Camper Sites - $75.00 Two (2) night minimum. Primitive Tent sites - $25.00 per night Two night minimum.

The Camping sites at the City Lake have a Water Hook-up for each RV site and water is available for the primitive tent sites. There is no Electricity. There are No open fires allowed anywhere on any campsite. In addition, included in the rental agreement for RVs and Campers is a free pass that entitles the renter to discharge their campers wastewater/sewage holding tank at the City’s wastewater/sewage discharge station located on Old White Plains-Nortonville Road located just off Highway 41 about ¼ mile on the left. There will be an attendant there from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm on Monday, August 21st and 7:30 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22nd for your convenience. During the Eclipse Weekend, August 18 – 21, 2017, one (1) Male and one (1) Female Port-a-Potti will be furnished at the Lake campground. There will be (2) two female and (2) Male Port-a-Potties at the Ballpark camp sites. There are bathroom facilities at the ballpark concession stand that will be open. There are No bathing/showering facilities located at any of the locations listed above. There is a showering facility located at the Pilot Travel Center in nearby Mortons Gap, Kentucky which is just 7 minutes (5.8 miles) from the middle of the town. This Pilot Travel Center is charging $12 per shower.

Fishing & Recreation at Nortonville Lake

The City Ballfield will be the City’s main Solar Eclipse viewing area. These sites are $25.00 per vehicle/group of 6 people. Pay at the entrance gate. Nortonville residents will receive local discount. These sites are open on Solar Eclipse Day, Monday, August 21, 2017. There is parking in the Ballfield Parking Lot adjacent to the ballfield. There will be concessions (Snacks, soda pop and water.) available for sale in the concession stand at the Viewing Area. Bathrooms are located next to the concession stand. *Please note: In the event that we reach full parking capacity, there will be some parking available within walking distance from the viewing area. *In the event that the City Ballpark area becomes full, you will be directed to the City Hall Viewing area behind the City Library.

*The City of Nortonville would like to announce for your convenience that there is a nearby Viewing area with many spots still available at Crick's Farm located off of Red Hill Road on Gamble Lane. Call Travis Crick at 270/836-0082 or 270/836-2285 for prices and directions.
